Wayne City Saddle Club is a membership organization with the purpose of providing the means for members to enjoy all phases of horsemanship including riding, training, showing,and pony pulling. Wayne City Saddle Club provides social and recreational activities for club members. The club aims to educate youth members to be able to participate at competition level, to train and humanely handle horses, and to encourage youth to continue to further their equine education. Wayne City Saddle Club maintains and operates a saddle club arena and grounds for civic, educational, and athletic opportunities for it's members.
Highlights of membership in Wayne City Saddle Club include regularly scheduled youth rodeo events featuring classes in mutton busting, mini and junior bull riding, calf riding, chute dogging, roping, steer daubing, flag racing, barrel racing, pole bending, and goat tying. The club hosts IBRA sanctioned barrel races throughout the summer.
Wayne City Saddle Club is a great option for youth who are interested in getting started or advancing their skill level in the great sport of rodeo.
