Promoting family fun with horses and educating the public about trail riding in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

WCTR, speaking as the organized voice of the county’s equestrians, has worked with the forest preserve and other public entities with the request to include equestrian use of public land. The WCTR have received positive results in the past and is working towards the future inclusion of equine on newly constructed trails throughout Will County. In our endeavor to further educate the public, we also choose to educate ourselves so as to represent the equine population in a responsible fashion.

Trail Riders Of DuPage (T.R.O.D.) educates riders & other trail users in the promotion and preservation of multi-use trails.

Family friendly saddle club based in Central Illinois that hosts horse shows, Trailriding and meetings throughout the year. We welcome riders of all ages and skill levels and provide a safe and fun environment.

Equestrian saddle club

Circle KD is composed of energetic, fun, horse-loving people who enjoy equine activities,friendly competition and/or relaxing trailriding.

Founded in 1970, the club has a long, local history of educating riders about good horsemanship, safety, and sportsmanship in a fun, team building environment.

The Illinois Walking Horse Association is an organization dedicated to promote the Tennessee Walking Horse. Our membership welcomes all who are interested in the Tennessee Walking Horse. We sponsor activities to create enthusiasm for the breed and encourage participation of all ages and abililities of exhibitors. Annual activities include trailriding, horse shows, youth programs, versatility events, clinics, and much more. Our association is non-profit and supports the Shriner’s Children's Hospital of Illinois Transportation division and provides college scholarships annually.

Sponsors an annual 100 Mile Trail Ride and keeps watch over legislative and conservation issues and groups in our state. The interests of animal rights groups, the disappearance of recreational land to development, and competition for recreational land use space are areas of growing concern.

The Illinois Fox Trotter Horse Association (IFTHA) is an affiliate of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association (MFTHBA). We are a non-profit organization dedicated to informing and educating the public to promote and perpetuate the Missouri Fox Trotter as a distinct breed and serving as a social vehicle for MFT enthusiasts throughout Illinois.
