Mainstay Therapeutic Farm

Main Stay provides therapeutic riding, equine and animal assisted therapeutic activities for individuals with physical, developmental, emotional and social disabilities. Activities at the farm enrich lives in a caring, safe, and challenging environment that enables individuals to reach their full potential. Main Stay serves individuals who are faced with a wide variety of challenges, including, but not limited to:

Main Stay is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and is committed to keeping its services affordable and attainable to those who need it most.

Client fees represent less than 20% of our annual budget. Main Stay receives no state or federal funding and instead relies on donations from individuals and private foundations, corporate sponsorships and fundraising activities to make up the difference.

Our mission is supported by a small, dedicated staff and a large core of amazing volunteers.

Over 9,000 volunteer hours are completed annually!

We could not meet the needs of our clients without volunteers and are so very grateful for the dedication, compassion and love that they bring to Main Stay each day.
